December mini lookbook

Hey Rubies!

I hope your enjoying this time with family and friends. I certainly have and although I am a native New Englander living in the DC metro area; while I enjoy December (it being my birthday month and all…whoohoo!) I am not about that Winter life. This December has

been quite mild weather-wise though and we’ve even had a few 70 degree days. I was elated to be a bit more flexible with my outfit choices.  With December coming to a close I though I’d share a few of my favorite outfits for the month.

I started the month on a high note  celebrating my birthday. I love this romper from Fashion to Figure, I scooped it up this summer and stored her special in my closet.

Then I searched for some OTK (Over the knee) boots to coordinate with her. It took some time but DSW didn’t let me down.

My other favorite outfit was this dress  I wore to church. It was comfortable, festive and fun!

My mini and I having fun “adjusting” the ornaments on the tree.

Clutch: Gift, Express

Necklace: Gift, Aldo

I bought this cute  “ugly” sweater last year on sale after Christmas and finally got to pull her out of the closet. I paired her with my OTK boots and a deep purple lip.

For Christmas I was feeling festive and sparkly. So I went with my Gold “Chasing Dreams” top I bought at the eleven60 pop-up shop.

I paired my peplum top with pencil skirt for a more sleek look.

I decided to pair the top with gold accessories. I heart my “love” ring.

We’ll be chasing dreams in 2017!

Loved my gold cut crease eye look along with my red and gold lip.

I hope you enjoyed a few of my favorite looks for December. I am looking forward to January and the New Year!  What are you looking forward to 2017? Comment below.

Remember, no one compares to you!

  1. first of all Merry Christmas! I agree with you on the cold…I am from New Orleans but I came up to Fairfax, VA near you in DC and this cold WET Christmas has been kind of miserable!
Love that black reindeer sweater set up, may have to find it for my little cousin, she loves that style!

  2. I certainly enjoyed all of ’em. I have a bit of a bias though with the red dress mainly because it’s my favorite color. You can’t go wrong with red – never fails to make a day seem brighter.

  3. Beautiful looks! I loved every outfit that you shared with us! I hope you enjoyed Christmas! There’s nothing like celebrating the holidays with style!

  4. I love all of the outfits…but, the red dress is by far my favorite! Super sexy *snap snap* go head on with your bad self!! If we wore the same size shoe I would definitely have to borrow the (OTK) boots…they are hot! Good fashion finds.

  5. Absolutely loving your mini lookbook, you aced all our outfits even the ugly chirstmas sweater lol. I can never pull them sweaters off at all. Great post
