Product Review: Fresh Rose Mask and Soy Face Cleanser

So let me begin by saying the Fresh Rose Mask is making it on my top five favorite facial masks list!

A friend gave me her complimentary Sephora birthday gift when she realized she already had the full-size version. I was happy to oblige and give it a try. I’ve heard nice things about the Fresh cosmetic line but never tried it myself.

The rose face mask boasts that it’s, “infused with real rose petals and hydrates and tones”. It’s also gentle enough to use every day and so far I have used it every day since I’ve gotten it!

I love,  love, love how my face feels in the morning after using it in the evening. Side note: when using a facial mask it’s best to apply it when you will have a clean face for at least 8 hours. A clean face meaning no makeup and the least amount of environmental exposure i.e. staying indoors if you can. I like to have home spa days when I know I’ll be indoors mostly all day. This really helps to reap all of the benefits of the mask. Going outside leaves you prone to toxins and chemicals in the environment which can be counterproductive.

Did I mention the rose mask smells so amazing?! When I use it at bedtime it puts me in a calm mood. Leaving me feeling relaxed and ready to unwind for bed. Now, I usually wash my face and then I’m off to bed. However, if you have really dry skin and find that you must use a moisturizer, I would suggest something very light and non-pore clogging.

The mask is light weight, all you have to do is lightly rub it on your skin and wait 10-15 minutes for it to dry.

In the morning I’m always tickled and elated at how soft and smooth my skin feels. Oh, the joy of skin that cooperates!

Alright, I’ve gushed over the mask enough, moving on to the Fresh Soy Face cleanser. The cleanser is pretty good as well. I used it to remove a full face of makeup in less than 5 minutes! The facial cleanser has a silky gel formula, infused with amino acids. It’s strong enough to remove eye makeup, yet gentle enough for all skin types.

You begin with a damp face and then rub the facial cleanser in a circular motion all over your face. Voila! Moments later you have a clean, fresh smelling blank canvas again. Super simple, super easy. Would I purchase this and add skincare routine…I certainly would!

  1. I would love to try this out. I like face masks that leave my skin feeling nice and soft and that I can rely on. I have sensitive skin so what I put on my face has to be from a trusted source. Looks like a great product.

  2. I’ve never tried this line but I am intrigued! I also never knew that you should apply masks when your skin will be clean for at least eight hours. You learn something new every day!

  3. This is a great idea as a girls night in. I had made mention to my sister that this year I am going to invest in myself and take real good care of myself. A face mask this Friday evening is a great start to the new me 🙂

  4. I’ve never heard of this line, but it sounds so nice! I really like the sound of the rose mask. I got a Sephora gift card for my birthday, too! Maybe I’ll try it! Thanks!
