OOTD: Yellow Ruffle Hi-Low Dress

Greetings Rubies!

Can you believe it, it’s fall already. I seems like just yesterday everything was warming up for spring and summer. Those are my two favorite seasons. My husband loves fall and is always trying to get me to do more outdoor activities in the fall. Well I didn’t mind being outdoors to support a good friend who invited me to La Grange Winery.

IMG_8725While I am a foodie and don’t actually drink alcohol, I was delighted to support her business get together.

The grounds are large and the fall foliage is really quite impeccable.

The acreage is vast and beautiful, you can tour the vineyard or take a romantic stroll around the property.

Even have a picnic with your family and friends with plenty of space to runaround and get into trouble, and even take a tour the historical home on the property.

They have an outdoor bar and wine tasting area and even a brick-oven mini pizza shop with fresh local ingredients. There really is something for everyone weather you go to attend the tasting or if you are a lover of the great outdoors.

IMG_8750I had no clue what to wear to a wine tasting, I found out that it’s quite a casual event, so I may have been overdressed *smile*.

I felt like it was the last days of summer and why not go out in something nice and bright.

I used to run away from ruffles but as I’ve gotten older the things that I used to run from have become some of my new favorites.

I bought my hi-low halter top ruffle dress from Ashley Stewart  and my sandals are vintage Pierre Dumas.

I guess we are officially blowing good bye kisses to summer and saying hello to fall. I must say I am looking forward to some cozy sweaters and binge watching shows on Netflix. What are you looking forward to this fall, comment below.
