I have another product review for you all and this time I even have a video to go along with it. Today we are talking about the Vivo Per Lei Laboratories Magnetic Deep Hydration Mask. Just in time for the long Labor day weekend, this is also my anniversary weekend so an afternoon of pampering was exactly what I needed.
Vivo Per Lei is a California based company that was founded in 2007. They have several skin care collections ranging from clay masks to retinol and thermal treatments. They also have a product line for men. Vivo Per Lei can actually be found at some local area malls. Being in the DC area I am no stranger to members of their sales teams asking me if I’d like to try a sample of their products. I spent many a time politely declining. I did receive a couple of their products as gifts and I was very happy with both. I received their hand treatment and full body exfoliate and body lotion.
The packaging was simple and sleek, and the instructions can be found on the side of the box. The directions to start with a freshly washed, clean face, which I gladly obliged. I used the small tool that was included in my kit to place the mask on my face. That was fun, quick and easy.
Once you place the mask on your face, the instructions say to wait 10 minutes. So I did that as well.
So at first I didn’t know how to remove the mask, initially I tried it on the back of my hand and after 10 minutes…15 minutes…20 minutes…I was waiting for it to stiffen or get tacky (like other masks I’ve tried) and it didn’t. So I had to look at the box and read the instructions more carefully LOL.
After doing that I realized exactly what the metal bar was for. Take a look at my short video below (it’s my first one so please be patient with me :), I’m still trying to figure out software and editing, I welcome all tips on what I can do better for next time).
Don’t mind me I realized afterwards that I didn’t record my application of the mask but it was quite easy and the application process was no different than other masks you may have used. Once I used the magnetic bar to remove the gray products which I assume is charcoal, I rubbed the oils into my skin I actually left my skin alone and didn’t add anything else on it.
In the morning I washed my face and used, almond oil, my go to moisturizer and my face felt soooo soft. It felt hydrated and it felt much nicer than I had anticipated. I really enjoyed how it felt. I put my make up on as usual with no issues and in the evening I removed my makeup and my face still felt smooth.
Overall, I really enjoyed this magnetic hydration mask. It was the first time I used an actual magnet to remove the activating particles.
It’s important to note that the hydration mask is not tested on animals and it’s paraben free. Ingriedents include, rosemary, sativa seed oil, coconut and eucalyptus to name a few. It’s US FDA registered and boasts that it delivers, “anti-aging botanicals that leave your skin moisturized with an all-day glow and comforting softness”. My face did feel soft afterwards and smooth afterwards and I enjoyed the “glow”.
Would I recommend the deep hydration mask to a friend? Yes I would. If you suffer from naturally dry skin, this product is a must for your spa kit. I have normal to oily skin so this would be my go-to for fall and winter months when the weather dries out my skin.
Have you tried any Vivo Per Lei products before? Share your experience and comment below? Lastly, have a safe labor day weekend Rubies!
