Hello Again Rubies!!
I’m excited to share this product review for Eva NYC Clean it Up Shampoo and Therapy Session Hair Mask. While I received these complimentary products from Influenster to review. I of course, only share my true and honest opinion and truthfully, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed these products. I will admit that it took me a few days to test them because for some reason (don’t ask me why cause I don’t know) I

*Singing* It’s beginning to feel a lot like spring… more and more each day. Palm Sunday was an amazing day and an interesting day all at once. I had a wonderful service at church and then had to go to meeting. After a very interesting meeting my friend and I decided to take some time to explore downtown DC, CityCenter to be exact. While it is officially spring, living in the DC/ Maryland/Virginia area I am reminded just how fickle the weather is. We had some days where the weather was 70+ degrees in February and March, and now that April is here it feels like we are back in January.

March is Woman’s Herstory Month, so let’s continue to celebrate Rubies in the community (and globally) who are doing their thang!

Of course, with it being condensed for television purposes, we don’t get to dig deeper to learn more about these crowned beauties. I always wondered, who is the woman
While the Month of March is Woman’s History Month; March 8 has been recognized as International Woman’s Day, by the United Nations, since 1975. This year, Women across the nation and the world are also rallying together for A Day Without Women. This movement was organized by the same women who organized the Woman’s March back in January.
It’s that time again, another Sephora Play! unboxing. A quick reminder that the Sephora Play! The theme for February was “The Soft Side”, my satin bag was filled products meant to enhance one’s natural beauty.
With this February box there were hits and a miss or two but my overall experience has been positive. I still enjoy my boxes and being introduced to different brands and products I may have overlooked. Read More

Ruby Simone emailed a question about foundation (name has been changed to keep the gem anonymous).
I have very oily skin. What is a good foundation to use that will stay on all day and not have my face look sweaty or like I don’t have any foundation on to begin with? Read More
